Traci Zajdel is a native of South Georgia, former military spouse, wife of an Air Force veteran, and mother of two amazing sons, ages 15 and 12. Traci considers herself a passionate advocate for others, an open-minded and enthusiastic student of life, and an ever-evolving work in progress. Traci loves reading books on a wide variety of interests (the old-school books you hold in your hand, not the tablet versions!), spending time with her family, cheering her kids on in their various activities and endeavors, and watching sports with her husband. Traci recently fell in love with ghost-hunting in Savannah, Georgia, and looks forward to many future trips to the area.

Traci received her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Valdosta State University in 2008 and is licensed in the state of Georgia. She has worked in a variety of contexts with clients of all ages, including residential programs, community care, private practice, and the Georgia early intervention program. Traci currently specializes in work related to sexuality and intimacy, relationship concerns and trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder in military veterans, and challenges of military life. Traci received her full licensure in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2010 and designation as an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist in 2022.

Traci is currently pursuing her doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy through National University with an emphasis on therapy with military families. She is also working to achieve her AAMFT Approved Supervisor credential.
